Integration & Data Engineer — Solutions for Financial Institutions

TNA Consulting is looking for a senior technical-functional engineer / solution engineer to strengthen our teams and support the development and deployment of our software solutions for financial institutions in Africa. At the interface between technical teams, product teams and clients, you'll work on regulatory reporting, accounting reconciliation, risk and receivables management, recovery, IFRS 9, data orchestration and Core Banking System integration.

Take part in financial innovation by supporting African banks and microfinance institutions through their digital transformation, with cutting-edge software platforms.

Profile

  • • Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in computer science, information systems or engineering.
  • • 3 to 6 years of experience in software, fintech, banking or solutions integration.
  • • Good command of SQL and good knowledge of Python.
  • • Understanding of APIs, databases, data flows and application architectures.
  • • Ability to analyze a business need and translate it into a functional and technical solution.
  • • Experience on projects involving interaction with client teams.
  • • Good presentation skills, client listening and communication.
  • • Autonomy, rigor and ability to solve complex problems.
  • • Occasional mobility for assignments with clients in Africa.
  • • Excellent communication in French and English is required.
  • • Experience in banking, accounting, or knowledge of a Core Banking System is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • • Analyze client needs, take part in demos and presales phases.
  • • Scope and design integration projects with the technical and product teams.
  • • Configure, integrate and test TNA solutions before go-live.
  • • Ensure go-live and support for deployed solutions.
  • • Work on regulatory reporting, accounting reconciliation, risk and receivables management, recovery and IFRS 9.
  • • Work on data orchestration and integration with Core Banking Systems.
  • • Act as the interface between technical teams, product teams and clients throughout projects.

Recruitment process

  1. 1.A first 30 to 45 minute conversation.
  2. 2.An on-site practical case (max 2 hours): starting from an anonymized core banking data extract and a short spec, build a transformation and control pipeline with tests, containerize it, and document how you verified the result.
  3. 3.A 1-hour technical interview with the product team: case debrief, live working session.
